We are realising gas and particle analysis on site or also in our chemistry laboratory at our head office in Stadthagen.

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES
ARE PROVIDED

Gas analysis
Continuous measuring instruments are available for the gas analysis of a large number of components. The concentrations of other gas ingredients will be determined by means of sample taking on site with subsequent evaluation in the laboratory or, if possible, directly at the place of measurement. We are amongst others realising the following measurements:
  • Gas composition regarding O2, CO2 and humidity
  • Acid crude gases such as HCl, HF, SO2
  • NOx
  • Hydrocarbon
  • Mercury
Further gas ingredients such as heavy metals or dioxins/furans will be analysed in external laboratories after sample taking by us.
PARTICLE ANALYSIS
The particle analysis realised in large parts in our chemistry laboratory but also on site, comprise amongst others
  • The mechanical features of particles such as apparent density, grain size, flow behaviour
  • The chemical composition particularly for the determination of utilisation of additive powders (residual calcium content, residual sodium carbonate content, chloride, fluoride, sulphate, sulphite)
  • We are also offering to our customers the possibility of an on-site analysis
  • Incineration-related features, among other things self-heating test
  • Examinations by means of optical microscope
If required, we will arrange for complete analysis of dust samples with regard to the chemical composition in external laboratories.
TEST SERIES OVER SEVERAL DAYS
In addition to basic examinations and based on the requirements of the corresponding application regarding dry temperature, dew point, HCl and SO content, we are determining for our customers in test series over several days the advantageous process-related plant design as well as the additive powder consumption to be expected with observance of the requested emission levels in the clean gas.

Furthermore, demonstration plants in different sizes are available for use on site. These filters are running in automatic 24-h operation. Relevant measuring data are continuously measured and recorded and evaluated by means of up-to-date acquisition systems. Resulting from a large number of practical experiences, a conversion of collected test results to the design of large-scale plant is reliably possible and without any limitations.

Measurements and test series for fundamental examinations or optimisation measures at large-scale plants complete our activities in the field of research and development. Besides measures for the optimisation of operating costs, among other things with regard to the energy consumption or additive powder consumption, special emphasis is often given to comparing examinations of different needle felt qualities. It will be possible to realise comparing measurements of single flat-bags regarding the throughput capacity over a longer period of time. After dismounting of sample bags, advanced examinations can be realised in our testing laboratory.

Examinations in the field of research and development are both realised for our customers with regard to the corresponding application and in the scope of fundamental examinations for our own developments.
